The combo includes a lot of rice, a big piece of naan, chicken curry, vegetable curry, and a simple salad of lettuce and tomatoes. Today's vegetable curry was green beans and chickpeas. The other combos were similar but substituted tandoori chicken, lamb, or a second vegetable curry for the chicken curry.
The food was great. the curries were spicy and hot with a great combination of spices. It's true what people say: the curries here are multi-dimensional and fragrant. The naan was warm, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The outside wasn't greasy like it is at some Indian restaurants. The rice was hot, just tender enough, and brightly colored (no skimping on the saffron!).
The portion is huge. $7.50 for a combo plate that could almost feed two is a great deal. Next time I'll bring a friend and order a combo either some samosas or a mango lassi.
The only complaint was that the sodas tasted too syrupy, so stick to the Indian food at this Indian restaurant!
