It's HERE!

It's here!
I don't even know why I'm so excited. I've never loved video games, and I'm probably the only person I know who never owned any kind of video game console growing up. But still, it's so pretty.
Anyhow, since this is a short post, I'll also post a question. I'm starting a little project, and I need to remind myself both what my favorite recipes are, and what other people have loved from this site. So, dear readers, what homemade dishes from this site have you found the most interesting, memorable, unique, or delicious looking? Thanks in advance!

friend code? You speak in tongues, my friend. There's a lot I have to learn about the wii.

Thanks! I'll need to find some good goulash if that was so wrong as to visually horrify you!

lol...welcome to many hours of random aggression. the wii embodies both satisfication, and anguish in on simple clean white solid state. that being said, the updated wii remote leashes are a good idea; your tv, walls, furniture and friends will thank you.

As for favorite receipe, i've yet to attempt to make anything from your site. However do enjoy the random rants and raves of your cooking, culinary, and epicurian adventures.

the wii friend code can be found in the system portion of your set up after you set up a internet connection. Once you exchange codes (doesn't that somehow seem dirty?) with someone you can send them messages and mii's which are the little selves you create to play games with.

as to recipies.

I loved the simple flaky pie dough/crust. i use that all the time for apple puffs.

i love the v'nese style salad with the chinese sausage. its simple but has so much flavor. i'm not a big fan of iceberg lettuce but anything with fish sauce and sausage has my vote.

I am totally surprised that you got a wii.

truthfully, the interface/gameplay pisses me off sometimes. I get tired of the controller. It's too hard to race when I have to control it like a steering wheel, but it's a steering wheel in air connected to nothing...it's confusing.

but practice hard, and it'll be game on the next time we meet. :)

pegs, can you get a ps3 and let me play?

regarding that goulash comment, if you objected to Pei's pic, then you better go register your complaints over at Wikipedia 'cause their picture looks damn close to Pei's...

Someone needs to show me a picture of "real" goulash. I am so curious and confused now. Maybe I'll search for a version in Los Angeles. Any suggestions?

As for Junei: I'll be happy to return my wii and play with yours. Just let me know. :) The PS3 is out of my budget.
