Sugar Cafe

Well, AT&T still can't get our DSL to work. There's something massively wrong with our phone line, probably due to lack of use because the last few tenants didn't use a land line. They promised it'd be fixed by the end of today, but who knows.

Meanwhile, I've been spending a lot of time at Sugar Cafe on Sutter. It's not quite as close as Cup A Joe's, but it has a few advantages. The biggest draw is that it's well-lit but there's a lot of seating away from the windows so I don't get insane glare off my computer screen. Sugar Cafe is also bigger (read: less crowded and therefore less pressure to hurry up and leave), has cheaper and better house roasted coffee, and has a more varied menu. The place is a cafe by day and turns into a bar and lounge by night. I can't wait to try some of their bar bites and cocktails. As you can tell from the photo, they also show movies on a large indoor/outdoor screen at night. Gimmicky, but fun!
