Baby Quilt and Sofa Pillow
The next post will be about food, I promise. I'm exhausted, I feel cross-eyed, and my back is all bent out of shape. That, and my stash of fabric has been severely diminished.
Crazy pillow! I got this fabric at the Marimekko store in DC. I love Marimekko prints, they are so colorful and unusual. I made the pillow extra surprising by making the back hot pink. It makes for a bold color contrast and means I only use half of the rather expensive Marimekko print.
And, voila! Finally finished another quilt. I completely lucked out at a Britex sale and snagged that quilted back for $5. That's not only about 80% off, it saves me from having to by filler, backing fabric, and then having to actually quilt the whole thing. My quilts are getting bigger each time; hopefully my next one will be big enough for an adult bed. This one is about 44x44" so it's good as either a lap pillow or for a baby. Anyone pregnant?

Me! :-P
lies...
I love Marimekko too. Just got one of the purses for Xmas and I love it!!! Love the pillow! Some of the sheets are on sale at crate and barrel. I think I'm going to order the green ones.
The Crate and Barrel outlet in Berkeley sells the fabric by the yard sometimes, usually for under $10/yard. So much better than what I paid at the flagship store, but sometimes the designs aren't their best.
Also, forgot to mention the patterned section of the quilt is an Amy Butler print. Also love her work!

Hi, Just came back here to remind you about Mobile Monopoly. This is a great system and WILL make you money, especially seeing as you own a website. Take a quick look at the video, the system is about using Mobile Advertising which is brand new and an unexposed marketplace where you can make thousands by doing hardly any work. I assure you that after you watch their short video it will change you and it will start making you think. http://mobile-mastermind.com
