Market Street, through the eyes of artist Sirron Norris. Look at the cable cars, street cars, and ferry building in the distance!

Sorry about being absent from the site. I've been feeling a little under the weather, what with being away for a week and then badly pulling a muscle in my right shoulder. I haven't felt like cooking much, but I did try to get out and walk around today.

I don't know how I missed this before, but it's a San Francisco heart painted by one of my favorite local artists. I just think the images are really creative and whimsical. Looking at them makes me happy. It's kind of like children's comics meets Dali.

I've seen this artists work in formal galleries, warehouse art exhibits, and even in an alley in the Mission. I'm glad the heart is prominently displayed on Union Square. Tomorrow, I think I might be up for a food post!
