More happy hour specials! Actually, I'm not sure if this is a special of the day or a happy hour deal. But I walked into PLL to wait for friends, andthe bartender was shaking up Flor de Cana gold rum mojitos for $4. You just don't say know to that. In fact, you say yes and then settle for a skewed photo so you can start sipping ASAP. At least, I do. It was quite sweet and tasty.

I was there on a Friday a few weeks ago. It seemed to be a combined drink of the day/happy hour thing. They had two drinks that were $7 before 7. It didn't sound like too much of a discount, until I drank the thing. It was made of carrot juice, ginger, lime and rum and something else. I am not usually a fan of rum, nor could I see carrot in a cocktail but it was delicious! Perfectly balanced though I found it almost too quenching. It packed a punch but I wanted to suck it down fast so I just swapped in club sodas between rounds. One of, if not the, the best drink(s) I have had this year.
