I was under no belief that it was a 'lighter' dessert, but I love the lighter textures. The intermingling of flavors, chocolate, cream, brandy and coffee. To be honest though, most of the time I've ordered it, it's been awful. Perhaps that is why I still do... I'm trying to find the one that lives up to the promise. I knew it! :)<BR/><BR/>And don't be fooled. Tiramisu actually is incredibly calorie dense, probably more fattening than ice cream. It just doesn't taste that way because it's fluffed up with egg whites. It's got a little bit of everything I like without overwhelming my taste buds. I like chocolate, I like brandy and I like cream... With other desserts, it's either too chocolatie, too creamy, too heavy...
